What’s your favourite bit of equipment and favourite exercise to do?

My favourite bit of kit is a Smith machine - unfortunately, I don't have one in my home gym, but it is on my list of upgrades I will make at some point. Bulgarian split squats - love and hate them.

What decision in this Gym felt risky at the time - but paid off?

Building it in the first place. I am a PT, and the gym I worked at closed, but I didn't want to end up in another chain gym paying someone else for the next decade or so. It was a huge investment for us, and we live in quite a remote area so I was unsure if my clients would be willing to travel. I've been open for 3 weeks, and my diary is full! I have a much better work/life balance now. I wish we had done it sooner.

Which part of this Gym looks ordinary in photos, but matters most to you?

The air con unit 😂 After spending the last few years working and training in an industrial unit and being freezing in the summer, and boiling in the winter, it's been a game-changer.
